
Apply to join our training of trainers course on “Developing human rights narratives to counter hate speech” organised by APICE in the framework of “We CAN for human rights Speech“, a two-year project, led by the Council of Europe No Hate Speech and Cooperation Unit, and includes: Active Watch, APICE, a Jewish Contribution to an Inclusive Europe (CEJI), and Neue Deutsche Medienmacher*innen e.V. (NdM).
The project consortium developed, during the first year of the project, a set of three new online tools to help activists:
- Analyse hate speech to find the proportional response
- Develop human right-based narratives
- Plan how to effectively communicate their counter or alternative narrative campaigns
The training aims at building the competencies of youth workers, trainers and activists, to learn how to use and include these tools into their daily action for countering hate speech though a human rights based narratives.
The training will be delivered online: 3-5 June 2021 and 10-11 June 2021, 3 hours per day, 9:30 to 12:30 (CET).
